Ava brings some fancy to our breeding program. She has a beautiful head, long neck, amazing carriage, tight little feet as well as a nice front, short loin and up right tail carriage. We are thrilled that she's living in Colorado.
Wow that was quick! Ava was shown once as a 4-6 puppy and won first in the Non-Sporting group. Next she went to Las Vegas for two specialty shows. She was Best Puppy in Breed at both shows. At the second show she was BW for her first four point major! A couple of weeks later she showed at a weekend of all breed shows where she picked up a couple of major reserves and improved her skills. At the Poodle Club of America, Ava (or I) was a bit nervous on the big stage. She won second in the largest class of mini girls at the show. She showed back to back weekends in Laramie WY and Longmont Colorado - winning four out of six shows for 10 more points an two more majors! The first day of the Plum Creek KC shows she finished her championship. We moved her up for the next two days where she was select bitch one day and best of variety the next.
Ava passed all of her health tests and is going to be bred to our boy Richard in 2025. It should be an amazing first litter.
Ava is bred by Katherine Kennedy Vigil, Ann Kennedy, Kathy Cowhen and Roz Maner. I'm thrilled that they are trusting me with this beauty.
