Even as a four week old puppy Richard was eye catching. His big thick black coat covers one of the best bodies I've ever put my hands on. I love to watch him float around the ring with his long neck, perfect carriage on tight thick feet. Finally its the temperament - confident, loving, joyful - well happiness . . . amplified.
Show Career
Since we didn't have any shows in Colorado when Richard turned six month old, he spend a few weeks in Arizona with his sire's owner, Daniel Chavez. It only took a hand full of shows for Richard to complete his championship before turning 7 months old - making him the youngest champion we've bred. Richard has been touring Europe with Biagio for the past few months. He came home with three new Championships and two more litters on the ground! Thank you Biagio for all you've done for our clown.
Health Testing
Richard has OFA good hips and patellas. His DNA testing is complete. He has proven to produce outstanding puppies. The three that have shown in the US have finished very quickly. He is not only passing on his outstanding structure and type, but also his happy attitude. Watch for Richard puppies in Italy and Japan coming in 2024. Richard will only be available to the very best girls and on a limited bases. He is currently living here in Colorado as my daughters beloved pet.
